I don’t have termites. Do I need to have an inspection?
The Australian Standard 3360 recommends all homes receive at least one annual inspection and more often in high risk areas. Our current climatic conditions are also very conducive to termite activity.
I think I found termites. What should I do?
Firstly try not to disturb them and do not spray them with any household chemicals. You need to arrange for a qualified technician to perform a thorough inspection of your property. This will enable correct identification of the termite species and the correct treatment plan to be ascertained for termite eradication.
Exodus Pest Control Termite Inspection
Exodus Pest Control is a Brisbane based termite company that will perform a full inspection of your house and yard in accordance with Australian Standards. We will inspect the roof void, any subfloor space, inside the entire house and outside perimeter. We will also inspect the yard, fences, retaining walls and out buildings. An eight page report is then issued on completion along with any quote for treatment if it is deemed necessary. Exodus technicians will then explain all findings with you and discuss different methods of termite control treatment available.
Costs may vary depending on the size of your property and the method of termite management treatment, if necessary. However this is a small price to pay for peace of mind in protecting your most valuable asset.

I now know the names of each of the species by their botanical names and as strange as this may sound, it was very reassuring to know the Exodus team knew so much about something that can have such a disastrous effect on the biggest investment most of us make in our life.
I found Guenter, Scott & Aaron gave excellent, prompt, polite service and to top it all off they cleaned up as if they had never been here - I was absolutely amazed at their attention to detail.
